Sheer Data LLC ("Sheer Data," "we," "us") designs, builds, and operates agentic AI systems for enterprises. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website (sheerdata.com), our applications, and our related services.

Account Information
When you sign in to our applications using Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information to authenticate your session and understand who is using our products.
Usage Data
We collect server logs that include IP addresses, request timestamps, and general usage patterns. This data helps us monitor service health and improve the product.
Scan Data
When you use our agentic AI systems, we may temporarily process metadata about your business documents, infrastructure, and data sources. Results are generated in real-time and streamed to your browser. We do not store your source data after your session ends.
Client Engagement Data
Our client engagements may involve processing domain-specific data such as clinical documentation, financial records, or insurance data. Each engagement's data handling is governed by its specific terms and any applicable agreements (e.g., BAA for healthcare data).

Connection credentials you provide for scanning are stored in an encrypted secrets manager and are never logged or exposed in plaintext.

Our applications use a session cookie to maintain your authenticated session. This cookie is HTTP-only, secure, and expires after 24 hours. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.
7Data retention
Session data is retained for the duration of your session (up to 24 hours). Server logs are retained for up to 30 days for operational purposes. We do not retain scan results or infrastructure metadata beyond the active session.
8Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at hello@sheerdata.com. You can end your session and clear your session cookie by clicking "Sign Out" in any of our applications.
